Struggling Through Another Round Of Speed Work
Another speed work training run to kick my butt this morning. I pretty much struggled to keep up with the fast 7:27 min/mile pace I was supposed to be maintaining for 4 minute intervals. We’ll see how this winter training goes. I have a feeling it’s going to be challenging to get through speed work once the snow falls. I have a hard time with the idea of having to do my speed work on the treadmill, but I guess I can’t rule it out. Given the intensity of the run this morning, other than asking God to get me through another 4 minute interval, my prayer time was pretty much nil. Not exactly how I prefer my runs to go. This is definitely something…

My problem is that I can’t sustain my faster pace for an entire full marathon, and I question even a half marathon right now. When I start too fast I use up so much energy that I hit a big wall too early on. Part of the reason for slower long runs is to build up endurance. Just pounding out the miles as fast as you can all the…
Knocking Out Another Tuesday Run For Clean Water
I count myself blessed that with everything going on in the world I am still able to get out and put some miles in early on a Tuesday morning. I pray for those fighting against the virus that is spreading throughout our world and for those that are still in need of clean water. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun Support new wells in Africa: https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr
Trying A New App And 10k Training Schedule
New training schedule for a 10k with Runtastic. Since I got a free premium subscription I thought I’d give this a whirl instead of paying for Endomondo. We’ll see how I like it. Tim just finished a Runtastic run of 4.28 mi in 40m 25s
