As the #HWI Team begins putting in even longer runs, working the way to half & full marathon distances, we have have an opportunity to bring awareness to the need for access to clean water in Africa. Even though for many of us this is another year of raising money, the need for more wells has not diminished. Can you imagine the life change if we could accomplish sustainable wells across all of Africa? The team won’t be stopping putting those miles in anytime soon.

Got my training run in before the #HWI Group Run kickoff started. Love hanging out with the team. #Run4Water #WhyIRun #RiverBankRun
Great weather for a run this morning. Starting to see a lot more runners out in the mornings now. Enjoyed another run focusing on listening to God instead of letting myself get totally consumed with the craziness of life. Counting down the days until I get on the plane to #SierraLeone #Africa with the team….

It wasn’t pretty, but we got it done. #HWI #Run4Water #GRGus
The ONLY measure of a Christian is that they believe in Christ as their savior, and put their faith in that truth.
My phone died and my watch powered off at around the 5 mile mark. I ended up doing 7.5 miles by the finish. This was my longest run to date. I’m feeling a little more comfortable with the idea of doing the half marathon in the fall. [endomondowp type=’workout’ workout_id=’885243077′] Daybreak
