A little bit of rain tonight but we got our campsite setup, had supper over the camp stove, got a #swim in, and had a #campfire. We don’t let a little rain keep us from enjoying some camping. #FamilyCamping Dorr, Michigan, United States of America

First Saturday Long Run After The 2019 GR Marathon
When a village is chosen to receive a well World Hope doesn’t just go install it and leave without investing time into the village. It becomes the responsibility of the village, through support from World Hope, to protect and care for, their well through the oversight of a leadership team from their village. Had a great morning run OUTSIDE today. Felt great to be outside again. I can tell that my body is allowed to more naturally be in control of the pace I’m running at any given point. Staying On Track With A Monday Recovery Run
Support Wells in Africa: https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRMarathon We have been fortunate in the U.S. to have had running water in our homes, generally, for the past 80+ years. This sort of infrastructure is just not widely available in Africa. Where even most rural homes in the U.S. have had their own well available right outside their home. Imagine having to make a couple of mile trek for a small amount of water to hopeful get through the day. A well changes all of that for a family in Africa.
Cold And Wet Fall 5 Miles
It was a cold, wet, windy morning for a training run. I couldn’t really focus on much other than to just keep pushing forward. The rain did get me thinking about whether it was the rainy season still in Sierra Leone, and how Alimamy and his mother were managing. #HWI #GRMarathon #Run4Water #WhyIRun
