Ok, so I guess I took a break from the whole blog thing, sort of. Basically I ended up adding some additional features and tweaks.

I never did get to see any friends. Oh well, hopefully another time. Sunday, my family and I headed off to the Minnesota State Fair with my aunt and uncle. My sister invited two friends so they basically went off and did their own thing. It started out with kind of crumby weather on the way, but it cleared up by the time we got their and started walking around. I can’t say that I say anything exceptional. Did visit the technology building (surprised?! LOL), and Unisys had some pretty cool bio-metric stuff they were showing off. HP was there with SolidWorks but I really didn’t play around with it much. Had all of the good fair food of course. Had my cheese curds & mini-donuts. Registered to win a few things: iPods, Eagle boots, Harley Davidson motorcycle. I haven’t heard anything today so I’m assuming I didn’t win anything. We got home about 8pm, didn’t really do anything once we got home. More >

Nothing Exciting, But Frustrated…

Well, nothing special today. I didn’t even get up until like noon. I was up late, as is most nights. Did some lunch then back to the blog. This blog thing has really taken over. I think the big thing is it’s my only outlet for for talking, don’t really have anyone to hang out with. I really don’t know that anyone would want to sit and listen to me talk about this stuff anyways. I’d be surprised if people even want to read all my dribble. Didn’t connect with any of my friends today, either. They’re probably out of town for the holiday weekend. More >

Katrina Victims, In Our Prayers…

I was listening to a Podcast yesterday on my way to my parents(surprise..lol), and one comment that was made on there was how the online blog community hasn’t been as active, concerning the Katrina victims, as they were after the tsunami hit South Asia. I was working on my blog, man I’ve been working a lot on it lately, and saw TWiT’s support right on their homepage. Now I know very few people will be visiting my site, most don’t even know about it, but I wanted people that do visit to know, that as a proud member of the blog community, I too am concerned with the tragedy down south. I would encourage those able to give to please do so. More later…

Well, got pulled in a lot of directions at work today. Things were still pretty quite. No one else was around in my department. It sure was a Friday, things got to be rolling pretty well in the break room this morning. This is to be expected when Armin is around on a Friday. It definitely brought back memories of the trip out to the East Coast earlier this summer. More >
