About Time For A Post…

Of course it has been awhile since my last post. It seems that blog world is a bit of a roller coaster ride. These days it just seems like the time runs short or there is just too much to mention for the time I have. Well, enough of that for now. So what have I been up to? Life has been full of work, church, and the love of my life.
Let’s begin with things on the work front. For those of you that didn’t know I work for iPCS Wireless, Inc. which is an affiliate company of Sprint. We own the Sprint cellular network for much of the area from Iowa to Pennsylvania. My official title is Network Planning Associate. I’m on the Network Planning team which is responsible for helping create web tools that help to plan our network expansion. We keep pretty busy keeping everyone happy. I’ve learned so much about cell phone technology and refined and enhanced my web-service programming and database administration. Lately I’ve had the opportunity to dabble in AJAX for a couple of the projects I’m working on. I work with a couple of great guys at our location too.

The Engagement…

So I know that I’d let everyone know how the engagement happened so here it is. It’s not some super amazing thing. I really wish I could have made it a super magical experience but I just didn’t get there.
I planned out a full day of activities together starting with breakfast. I was wanting to include Vanessa’s parents in on the breakfast but they couldn’t make it. Before I got to her place to take her to breakfast I made a quick stop over to the flower shop to get a rose for her. My plan was to use it later in the day.

I Hear Wedding Bells…It’s Official!

Just wanted to let all of those that might be cruising to see what I’m up to that I am engaged! That’s right, there is a woman out there (Vanessa 
) that would have me. 
We had an amazing day together, during our dinner I popped the question. It’s way late now so I’m not going to stay up to give all of the details, I’ll give the skinny tomorrow sometime. I can’t wait for you all to meet my fiancee!

So I know that my blogs posts have sort of bit the dust. I’ll have to do a better job of updating this thing. Time just seems to get away. I promise to put up a post tomorrow night. I should have something to post then.
