5K Number 5… Feeling Great!

I was pretty frustrated with my pace after yesterday’s run. I had a ton of support and encouragement from the HWP Team and I was super excited to see my results today. I paid close attention to what I was doing today, as compared to the previous day, and made adjustments and I saw the difference. 4th 5K…Struggling With My Progress

Since I had more time today, day off today, I took an extra 4 minutes to cool down. Lost the full stats but caught my average minutes per mile to be 10. Feeling a bit frustrated with that average given that my best average to date was 9:31min/mi, just a week ago. :-/ I feel like I’m getting worse not better. Need to figure out what’s going on. 3rd 5K, Tough Morning…Inclines

This morning felt like a pretty big challenge. It being my 3rd 5K this week I just felt off from the start. After looking at my distance climbed I think I understand why today felt like so much of a struggle, I had about 90 feet of incline then my last 2 5Ks. Looks like the machine decided to take things up a notch today. I’m not unhappy with my pace. It just feels like I took a step back from the start of the week. I think my body is still recovering from lack of sleep since I was up way late the night before last. I hope it’ll work to make it to a HWP group run soon.
