Saturday was our last day in Sierra Leone. Ron, Terry, and I started off the day with a short 3 mile group run. It was pretty hot and humid. After showering and breakfast we headed to a market in Freetown. As we we’re on our way we we’re briefly stopped by a small parade or sorts, complete with a marching band. Our driver’s took us to a market that was in a building that had 2 floors packed with vendors. We all did a bit of haggling and purchased some items to bring home to friends and family. Final Flight Leg and Arriving in Sierra Leone

We got on our flight to Paris. It was nice to have most of us fairly close together on the flight. We had a short time in Paris at the airport. Got some coffee recharged electronic device and took a chance to get to know each other better. Mike likes to be the jokester of the group. I don’t think any of us got much sleep in on the flight from Paris to Freetown. Dawn beat me at a game of checkers on the in flight media system.
