I had to get up at 4ak this morning in order to get my 15 miles in before the Men’s Breakfast. Today the goal was to do the whole run at my anticipated marathon race pace, which I’m targeting a 9:30 min/mile. My pace was a bit too fast, but it was a much shorter run, and given I did a 25K(15.5 mile) race this spring at an 8:30 min/mile pace it’s reasonable to be at a little over 9. I’m planning on sticking with the pacers come race day so that I can maintain that pace for the whole 26.2 miles.
