We began day 3 at the World Hope offices of course. As we’ve hung out at the offices, and been driven to villages, we’ve had the opportunity to get to know many of the nationals that work for World Hope. It’s been a blessing to have people that are willing to be patient with us as we’ve tried to learn about the culture and learn to better communicate. We left the World Hope offices for a quick stop at the village of Bomballi Bana, where World Hope has been working since 2010. They worked with a church partner to assist with the development of the schools, church, and of course putting in a well. It was so awesome to see how well the students were…
When I start talking with people about my running there is always the question of why I’m running and what my goals are. I’ll be honest that running just kind of happened. Got another New Year’s day run in this morning. As you can see it was a pretty cold morning. I think I’m just about ready for anything that might hit for Groundhog Day Marathon. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRGus
I’m officially registered for the GR Half Marathon. Looking forward to the journey and the community! What a great night for the Hope Water kick off! I’ll be doing the half marathon, which seems crazy, but my wife is my inspiration. I also can’t wait to be a part of the the amazing work God is doing with the Hope Water Team to provide clean water to people in Africa. So proud of my wife who is joining the team headed to Africa in a week to dedicate some of the wells the team helped to put in and serve the people.
Great to be back running with the #HWI team and getting to know some #KCC family as well. #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRHalfMarathon
It was a cold tough morning…I still got the Saturday long run finished. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GroundhogMarathon #RiverBankRun
