Trying to do interval training runs in the cold winter months can be challenging. Even with the right gear which I highly recommend, you have to be careful so you don’t end up taking a dive. Snow and ice can make speed a definite challenge when attempting faster interval runs. Once the winter weather season hits I always have to remember that I will end up slowing down. It’s a good time to focus on just enjoying the run.
