Helping Bring Clean Water to 21,250 People

Our organization is so close to reaching our goal and being able to bring clean water to 21,250 people in Africa. I’m still $780 away from hitting my goal before the Grand Rapids Marathon on October 15th. I hope there are those that would be willing to partner with me to bring clean water to those that need it.

A well is the start of helping a village help themselves. The responsibility of the well, and the well-being of the village, is on a team of leaders from the village.     Completed My First Marathon…

    Today was a pretty big day for me. I completed my first ever marathon. It was a tough day, with the down pouring rain, wind gusts of 20 some miles per hour, and getting cramps in my legs that slowed me down, I ended the race pretty discouraged. Not to mention I ended up having to be taken to the medic tent after crossing the finish line, which was something my running partner and I had talked about not wanting to have happen to us. Let’s just say it was a pretty humbling experience. I’m so thankful for all of the encouragement from the many Hope Water International runners the kept encouraging me on the way to the finish line.     A Wet Easy 11 Miles

    I got 11 miles in this morning even though it was raining. With being stuck inside, and at home, pretty much all the time, I was glad to get out end enjoy the end of my run in some daylight. When I finished I enjoyed getting on a Zoom call with the #HWI team and catching up a little bit.
