First Saturday Long Run After The 2019 GR Marathon

When a village is chosen to receive a well World Hope doesn’t just go install it and leave without investing time into the village. It becomes the responsibility of the village, through support from World Hope, to protect and care for, their well through the oversight of a leadership team from their village. When you partner with #HWI you can be certain that your gift will be impacting generations through a sustainable water program. #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRGus Make A Impact, Give Today: https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr This morning was my first Saturday morning long run since completing the 2019 #GRMarathon and I felt pretty good afterwards. My Longest Run Since The 2019 GR Marathon

Most children in Sierra Leone don’t get to be “just kids” like kids can in America. Many children are the ones responsible for gathering the water that their entire family needs for the day. This results in either no education, or very little. Bringing more clean water to Africa means a better future for the children. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun Help Bring Clean Water to Africa: https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr I almost got 9 miles in, which is almost 3 miles beyond the farthest distance I’ve run since finishing the #GRMarathon in October. It definitely felt harder on the last half than the 1st half. I’m glad I was able to get through it without getting let cramps again.

There is still time to partner with #HWI and help us continue to build more wells in Africa. https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr #Run4Water #WhyIRun

Final Week Before Marathon Day

I hit my $1000 fundraising goal but there are many other team members still working to reach their goals. Partner with #HWI and help bring clean water to those in need. https://www.hopewaterinternational.org/teams/49 #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRMarathon There are only 5 more days before the Grand Rapids Marathon, which will be my 4th marathon. This week the number of runs is winding down, with only a short interval run this morning. I’ll do another short easy run on Thursday. It’s hard to believe that the marathon is this week already. No matter how much I train I always still feel a little nervous going into a race. There are many on the team where this will be their first full or half marathon, and the good thing…
