Getting in a Thursday 3 Miles at KCC
I was hoping to meet up with some other #KCC team members but it didn’t work out. Had a nice run on the M-6 trail though. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRHalfMarathon #RiverBankRun
2nd Group Run, And My Longest Distance to Date…5 Miles
Had another great run this morning with the Hope Water Project – Team Daybreak and loved hanging out with the team a little afterwards. They are a great support team and I love their challenge too! [endomondowp type=’workout’ workout_id=’864962615′ ] Daybreak Church
Hitting The Pavement After The Grand Rapids Marathon
Back in the saddle with an “easy” 9 mile run. I’m still finding it hard to keep a consistent pace. I tried to keep it in the 10:14 min/mile pace but it’s hard for me to get in a rhythm at that pace. It felt good to be back out running again after the marathon. I enjoy the quiet time. I’m still trying to hit the $2000 mark for clean water. I’ve only got $350 more to go. I’m praying that my show of dedication to running inspires someone to partner with me. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun Donate to Clean Water – https://timn.me/2t9D4ne
Feeling Very Out of Shape on My Long Run
After getting through about half of my run in this morning I could tell that the second half was going to be a struggle. Over the past year, even though I haven’t stopped running, my running wasn’t always as consistent and my diet has been all over the map. These two things of course have made a significant impact on my running. I don’t know to what degree all of the craziness that has gone on this past year has been a major instigator of my downfall, but I’m sure it has attributed to it. I need to do better. Maybe that will be my next New Year’s resolution. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #RiverBankRun Give the gift of clean water this Christmas: https://timn.me/2020HWI
Knocking Out Some Early Morning Miles With A Hope Water Teammate
I had the pleasure of finishing out the last 10 miles of my run with my #HWI teammate Justin. It’s so nice to have both the motivation, and distraction, of someone else on the longer runs. It really helps melt the miles away. This is Justin’s first year with Hope Water, and his first marathon. I enjoyed being able to share my previous years of experience and what I’ve learned. #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRMarathon If you haven’t already donated to Hope Water please consider donating to Justin’s fundraiser: https://www.hopewaterinternational.org/fundraisers/888
7 Miles A Day Challenge – Day 4 Complete
Finished day 4 and still feeling good. Even did better on my pace and got a little bit of extra distance in. Been amazed with what God’s been doing. It’s been a pretty awesome week. #hwi #sierraleone #cleanwater Hudsonville, Michigan, United States of America
