Over 1,200 children die each year in Sierra Leone related to lack of clean water. The remaining $255 towards my goal will save 19 more children. Will you join me to impact the children of Africa? https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRMarathon Also on: MastodonMastodon
Back in the saddle with an “easy” 9 mile run. I’m still finding it hard to keep a consistent pace. I tried to keep it in the 10:14 min/mile pace but it’s hard for me to get in a rhythm at that pace. It felt good to be back out running again after the marathon. I enjoy the quiet time. I’m still trying to hit the $2000 mark for clean water. I’ve only got $350 more to go. I’m praying that my show of dedication to running inspires someone to partner with me. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun Donate to Clean Water – https://timn.me/2t9D4ne
During this season of celebrating Christ’s birth we can celebrate 15 new wells that will be going in this coming year. There’s more work to be done, so consider a year-end gift to clean water. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRGus Give the blessing of clean water: https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr
It was a tough run this morning the snow covered sidewalks and pathways really took their tole the further I got into my run. On top of that my CamelBak nozzle froze up and couldn’t get any water for a good portion of the second half of my run. What was supposed to be a 17 mile run ended up being only a 15 mile run. I had my mask on to help cover my face from the wind, which I’m so thankful I had decided to that otherwise my face probably would have been frozen. There is no telling what the weather is going to be like come February 2nd, for the Groundhog Day Marathon. After today’s experience I’m a little more concerned about…
Let’s hope that I can continue to get myself ready for the upcoming half marathon. #HWI #Run4Water #GroundhogMarathon #Garmin #Running
