A day late on posting this. Better late than never, right? It’s hard to imagine that I’m only a couple of days away from the marathon.

I so appreciate this guy training with me these past many weeks. Looking forward to hitting the next milestone and crossing the finish line together.

    Running And Giving Thanks

    Back at it after my camping vacation. I commend those that are able to stick with the training while on vacation. My love right now isn’t really conducive to running while on vacation much. It was nice to back out running having some worship and prayer time.     Great Training Run With Friends This Morning

    Loved being able to do a training run with other guys. 3 things happen, first you’re building relationships and community. Second you’re keeping your heart rate and pace in check as you carry on a conversation, or try to. ? And last the time and miles seem to fly by since you’re focusing less on them.     Getting My Butt Out Of Bed And Hitting The Pavement

    Another one of those mornings that took some extra effort to get it of bed and get out the door. I really had to fight with myself to not just go back to bed. Always feel even better when I finish a run knowing that I overcame the desire to just stay in bed. It becomes an easier decision when you think about giving up a little extra sleep for the cause of bringing people clean water. #HWI #HessLakeRun #GRMarathon #Run4Water

    Even though the official running season for the West Michigan chapter of Hope Water has come to a close, the need for clean water hasn’t. An even more, someone has put up a $20,000 match from now until the Disney marathon the start of January. Right now all donations can have double the impact.
