A day late on posting this. Better late than never, right? It’s hard to imagine that I’m only a couple of days away from the marathon.

I so appreciate this guy training with me these past many weeks. Looking forward to hitting the next milestone and crossing the finish line together.

    It Shouldn’t Be All About The Run

    No PR today on my long tempo run but the but I also don’t feel like I over did it either so that helps me to know I could still push myself to a faster pace or keep up that pace for a longer time/distance. Unfortunately this morning was one of those where my mind got totally lost in the run itself.     Just Shy Of A Half Marathon Before Breakfast

    This week is supposed to be the start of the training taper before the River Bank Run 25K next week. With a long interval run this morning it’s hard to think of this being a taper, but there isn’t a run scheduled for Saturday according to the plan I’m following so I guess that signifies a taper. ? It honestly kind of surprised me how close I was to getting in a half marathon distance in this morning. With the first hour of the run being a normal slower run I enjoyed a good time of worship and prayer. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyiRun #RiverBankRun

    Kicking Off The Week With A Nice Run

    This morning was one of those slow to get out of bed mornings. Once I got out and started breathing in some fresh crisp morning air I was awake and ready to roll. Especially after hitting play on the workout worship music. The first half of my run was time to just enjoy the worship music, the second half of my run I spent a lot of time in prayer. The combination of prayer, worship, and running it’s kind of a trifecta for me. I’m blessed that God had bought me to this place.     Pushing Through An Intense Speed Test Run

    Back at it again this morning. It was an intense short training test run. I was hoping to see a #5K #PR but that may have to wait until Saturday when I do the #HotCiderHustle 5K. I had just ran the night before so my body hadn’t really had a ton of recovery time. I’ll be looking forward to representing #HWI at the Hot Cider Hustle. It sounds like there will be a few of us out there. I always love having the opportunity to share to share about the mission when I where my Hope Water blue.
