Being In Charge Of The Thanksgiving Turkey
As a former food service director, I was put in charge of baking the Thanksgiving turkey. It’s coming along nicely. We’ll see how people like it at lunch time.

Quick Lunch Break Run
Due to having to work about 4 hours in the middle of the night I was in no condition to run this morning so I took my lunch break to get a short run in. I took about a week break for recovery after the Groundhog Marathon. Normally I’d start a reverse training following a marathon, but with only 3 months to go before the Riverbank Run I really couldn’t afford the time in order to get a good amount of training in. With some new shoes, and a fresh coat of snow, it felt good to be back out there stopping on the pavement. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #RBRStarting Off Slow, Then Getting In A Groove
For the first 4-5 minutes it felt like it was going to be a slower day, but after getting the first mile under my belt things turned around. From there on I just slowly kept picking up the pace.
