  • Blog Design Changes…

    So I have done some design changes on my blog. I’ve customized it more away from the canned templated I was using. I’m not using an original panoramic photo for my header. I’ve also got the new photo gallery integrated a bit better. I’ve also added the ability to use avatars, that would be little pictures to represent yourself. I’ve even signed up for and allow the use of gravatars. Well, of course, busy-busy it has been. Not much of my life has been posted as of late. Maybe not today but hopefully tomorrow I’ll get a good long post in. On the the devos…

    A Verse That Describes The Church In Kathirie Sierra Leone

    “They are being tested by many troubles, and they are very poor. But they are also filled with abundant joy, which has overflowed in rich generosity.” – 2 Corinthians 8:2 NLT This morning at Daybreak this verse was one that was part of Pastor Wes’ message. As it was being read I instantly began remembering my experience at the Sunday morning service in Kathirie. As I watched the church members give the morning offerings, giving not only to the general offering but also to a building fund and missions, I could only think about the amazing work God was doing in the village.

    Where’s The Line…Freedom in Christ or Good Witness

    (1 Corinthians 14:13-25) In my devotion time today, Paul was again talking to the church in Corinth about matters of witness to unbelievers and escentially the freedom found in Christ. The problem for the early church, and I would say that this problem has not gone away, was that for the unbelievers (or even weak or new in faith) there were things that they didn’t understand which easily turned them off to Christianity. The hard part comes in that God has called us, as Christians, to be different than this world.     Dusting Off The Blog in The Corner

    I’m going to keep this a little short as I’m actually typing this all out on my phone. I decided to try to consolidate and at the same time bring my old blog up-to-date and back into the picture. I haven’t really taken the time to blog in years. Going to perhaps pick things up again, while at the same time tie in my Twitter and facebook. We’ll see how it goes, not making any commitment, plus I can only type so long on my phone before nmy hands get tired. More to come later, hopefully.
