After successfully migrating from a #DigitalOcean Droplet for my #Mastodon instance I decided to take advantage of the remaining resources still available on #OracleCloud to migrate my web hosting as well. I’m going to be taking a different approach, basically because of the #arm64 setup, and using #Docker for running most of my hosting setup. This post serves as an on-going guide to that setup.
I began work on building out a #Docker image build of #OpenLiteSpeed specifically for running on #arm64. I’ll be using this to run my #WordPress sites as well as any other web services.
Spent the afternoon building a couple of 4’x8’x18″ raised garden beds. We’ll be getting them settled and filled with soil before winter so they’ll be ready for planting in the Spring. My son helped me with getting the corner 4×4’s cut and them helping me screw together one of them and a little of the second one.
The torsion spring winding today I ordered from Amazon arrived today so I got to work removing the old broken spring in order to measure so I could order the new one. Found some great detailed instructions on replacing and measuring the spring. Hopefully I can get the right spring ordered and get this garage door fixed so we can have out garage stall back. Single Ez-Set Torsion Spring Replacement
Pulling off the #panelling on the outer wall and adjoining corners in preparation for the #drainage work to be done I our #basement. Was hoping to be doing this in preparation for basement finishing. 🙁
This weekend was a busy one. We completed 3 yard projects including a new sandbox, stone fire bowl ring, and a prepped area for the above ground pool when it arrives. A lot of projects knocked off that we look forward to enjoying the rest of the summer.
