Listening to Your Children
How often are we “too busy” to listen to our children? How often do we let our personal agendas, attitudes, or being tired let us get frustrated and angry with our children? I’m sure that we all have our moments. And I’m pretty sure we’ve all had to deal with frustrating people in our lives, other than our children. If we want to have a relationship with our children that has a solid foundation then we need to do more but listening and curb the frustration and anger. I love it when I get a chance to introduce my kids to some of the movie classics I grew up watching, like Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory. I constantly feel like they just don’t make movies like they used to. These days everything is special effects and action, whereas the technologic limitations forced a lot of focus and energy on the story. I love to see my kids actually engaged in the movie stories that I watched as a kid. I can’t tell you how many times my kids wanted to watch Chitty Chitty Bang Bang before they were ready to move on.Watch Your Words; Be True To God; And Love People
