Starting The Day With God

Whatever you’ve done and whatever you face, turn to God first, each morning. Give him your day, and then allow him to guide each step.

Something that I’ve tried to stick to for years is to start my day off with having time with God. I can’t say it always happens, or that it’s always the quality time it should be. We all need time to focus on God, and what better time than first thing in the morning to get our day’s focus in the right place first.

    Not To Be Concerned…

    I want to thank those of you that expressed concern for me because of my protected post. It’s so amazing to know that there are so many people that care about how I’m doing. I want to assure you all that things are simply amazing right now. I know that most of you don’t really know Vanessa, but I hope that you will get to meet her some day, but for me she is the most amazing woman I know. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of her and feel so completely blessed by God for how He brought us together. She has an amazing way of always making my days brighter.     Wasteful Weekends, Geeks…Gotta Love Em

    So yeah, I pretty much wasted the weekend away again. Not totally, but I could have done a lot more than I did. I guess I sort of get tired of doing stuff, like work, all the time and want some time to just kick back and relax. I’m feeling like I’m kind of spinning my wheels with the web job. I really like to nail down the site design before I do the custom programming stuff. The problem is they’ve given me hardly anything to work with. Well Monday will have to be a big day to work on getting stuff going. I guess I’m going to worry less about the design and make sure the funcitonality is all there. So yeah, not much…

  • Blog Design Changes…

    So I have done some design changes on my blog. I’ve customized it more away from the canned templated I was using. I’m not using an original panoramic photo for my header. I’ve also got the new photo gallery integrated a bit better. I’ve also added the ability to use avatars, that would be little pictures to represent yourself. I’ve even signed up for and allow the use of gravatars. Well, of course, busy-busy it has been. Not much of my life has been posted as of late. Maybe not today but hopefully tomorrow I’ll get a good long post in. On the the devos…

    Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will Be Done…

Give us this day our daily bread…” As I read these words and the pages that went with them, in “The Passionate Life”, it was pretty obvious God was speaking to me concerning my evening. While I’m so thankful for all that God continues to teach me, I feel a small sense that perhaps He has other plans for me then the opportunity to share this life with someone else.     Ok, so is analytics even a word….guess so according to Websters. I think it’s a riot how I can take a situation and analyze it to death, then God comes in and tells me to just follow His lead. Am I slow or what. It’s so easy to forget, that despite our best efforts God’s still the one in control. Well this is just a short post this morning before I get ready. God is the best, yeah!
