John Confirms Jesus

(John 1:29-34) So, John didn’t know Jesus really, other than what God had revealed to him. However, the key things that God revealed to him was how he would recognize who Jesus was. We see here that Jesus came to John to be baptized. Even though, as far as John was concerned, he wasn’t worthy to baptize Jesus that is what Jesus required of him. He did this and then John saw first hand the Holy Spirit come down onto Jesus, and this was exactly what God had told John would happen. At that point John had no doubt at all that this was Jesus. He told everyone what he had been told and experienced.

    So it’s been an ok day. Even though I didn’t have the time to post about my morning devotions I did ge them in before I headed off to work. Here’s hoping I can post tomorrow morning. The battle rages on against the night. So I had a meeting with On Deman Graphics in Fergus about a website job. They’ve got their own graphics people to work on the design aspects, they just need a programmer to make it happen on the web. Initially it looks to be a fairly small site, it’ll have a few different programming aspects, but it also looks to be an on going job. I’m not sure how I feel about this.     Isaiah 6:1-7, this morning I’m feeling very OK with my openness on my blog. I’m also once again thankful for Bruce’s comments to me yesterday. Today’s topic of truth talked about how as people we tend to sugar-coat the truth or complete lie with people. It is so easy for us to be shallow, and “nice Christians” that would do say the hard things that count. God of course is nothing like that and shares with us the complete honest truth, whether hard to hear or not.     Expectations, Communication…When Life Gets Too Busy

    Well I got a rather unfortunate email today. I’ve basically been let go for the website project I was working on. The truth of the matter is there were things that myself and the company that hired me didn’t do very well. I kind of feel a little frustrated as I thought I made myself very clear how busy my schedule was before they agreed to hire me. Apparently I didn’t do a good enough job. It would also seem as though they really didn’t read the contract before they agreed to it. It clearly states what I was expecting. I guess I’m fine with not having to worry about it any more however, I just feel as though they could have done a better…
