As I felt the light rain coming down as I ran I couldn’t help but think of #SierraLeone and the long drive season they, putting a strain on water supplies. I especially thought of the village of #Ronkorhun and their struggles for water. I continue to pray for the rains needed to grow their crops and restore their water supplies. Had to bring things back inside this morning. I did have to think twice about it given that at the moment I was getting ready it wasn’t actually raining. Given the entire morning called for rain I opted not to get caught in it this time. Pushed this morning’s training run to a 5K distance, and bumped up the intensity a bit. Just like training for a marathon is not easy or simple, so it is with putting in a well. When I had a chance to learn about the process of putting in a well I was amazed at the amount of work that is done before even putting a drill in the ground. And that actually does start with raising the money to fund the time and materials required to put in a well.
