Tackling The Ice Mounds, An Endurance Test
It was a tough go of it this morning tackling the ice mounds left behind by the snow plows. Winter running is not the time to be working on speed that is for sure. Many times I had to take to running on the snow covered grassy areas in order not to trip and fall. I should stress here the importance of wearing proper footwear when running in the winter, and that means wearing some sort of cleats. New Route, Same Running Partner
I met up with my running partner at the Riley Street Middle School this morning, and we tackled a new running route. Runner’s know you don’t want change up too much at once. It was a mostly rural run, had to run the roads for the majority of the route, but that was just fine, while have some good conversation with my running partner. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #RiverBankRun

Rainy Saturday Morning 12 Mile Training Run
