Beating The Urge To Go Back To Bed
A little windy this morning but it made for a nice cool run. I didn’t feel like I slept very well so it was hard to get going this morning. The thought crossed my mind a couple of times to just skip the run today and go back to bed. I couldn’t get myself to do that though. I know that once I actually get moving things turn around. Also, it’s the best time for me to get one-on-one with God with little distraction. It’s hard to believe that the #GRMarathon is only like 6 weeks away. Remembering The Daily Struggle In Sierra Leone
As I wrapped up another 5 miles this morning my thoughts turned to the daily struggle to survive for so many in Sierra Leone. The hardship of trying to gather water, and not even clean water for many, is real. Adding the begin of the spread of #COVID19 in he country and I am deeply concerned about all of those I was blessed with meeting when I visited almost 2 years ago. What Difference Does A Drilled Well Make?
Something that may not really be understood when people hear that #HWI helps to put in wells in Africa. The wells that Hope Water International partners with #WorldHope are drilled wells. These wells go down deep to clean water, and they overcome the challenges of the dry season. Kicking off the First Full Week of 2021

A Little 14 Mile Run Before Starting The Day
With a 5K race on Saturday morning, and a breakfast meeting cancelled, I got my 14 Mile long run in this morning before work. I’m glad to have gotten it done and will have a bit more of a break before the 5K. It did throw off much of my morning routine so we’ll see how the day goes. #HWI #Run4Water #GroundhogDayMarathon
