Back Home For a Cool Tuesday Morning 3 Miles
Back home, and back to a more regular morning routine. It was a nice cool morning for a run. #HWI #KCC #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRHalfMarathon #RiverBankRun
Back In The Saddle After Marathon Rest Week
So I wasn’t sure where to start after taking a week off after the Groundhog Day Marathon but I did need to get into a 25K training plan to prepare for the River Bank Run coming up in May. Naturally I took to #Endomondo to outline a customized training plan, so 8.8 miles for today is what was called for. It felt great to be back out putting some miles in again. I was missing the extra quiet time, and the extra time to just be in worship and open dialogue with God. It’s a lot easier to hear God speak when you are out early in the morning, in the dark, on a run with none of the hustle and bustle of life at…
Kicking Off The Week With A Nice Run
This morning was one of those slow to get out of bed mornings. Once I got out and started breathing in some fresh crisp morning air I was awake and ready to roll. Especially after hitting play on the workout worship music. The first half of my run was time to just enjoy the worship music, the second half of my run I spent a lot of time in prayer. And to top that all off I can use my running to have a global reach in helping bring clean water to those in need. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRGus Donate to…

This morning I ran 5+ miles. It was a great time of prayer and thinking of the people in Sierra Leone and being concerned that with #COVID-19 putting people out of work will raising money for more wells be put at risk. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun The day ended with me deactivating my Facebook account, with no real intent on returning, out of frustration with people that call themselves Christ followers, people that I once called friends. Their behavior towards the pandemic makes them appear like they have little regard for human life, or caring about others more than themselves. I think what’s even worse than jumping the Facebook ship is the fact that a lot of these people are also connected with my running group,…
