A Rough Evening Long Run In Indiana
Attempting to do a long run in the evening after a full day of activities with the family proved to be a bad idea. While I started off strong I just totally ran out of steam after a little over 14 miles. My overall average was still better than I would have thought, but that might just be for the fact that I was really going too fast to start. The unfamiliar roads, darkness, and rolling hills also didn’t help. I think the biggest thing I can say is that it is much harder doing these long runs alone. Back At It, Starting The Riverbank Run Training
I took about a week break for recovery after the Groundhog Marathon. Normally I’d start a reverse training following a marathon, but with only 3 months to go before the Riverbank Run I really couldn’t afford the time in order to get a good amount of training in. Planning With Purpose For Clean Water And Training For A Race
Putting in a well in Africa takes planning, which is not unlike using a training plan for running with a race as the goal. In order for a well to be successfully drilled there is a lot of planning and preparing that needs to be done.
