    Preflight Long Run

    Since our family was flying to Minnesota very early the next morning I decided to get my long run in the night before. It started out very strange because as I ran I felt like I was slowly trudging along but when my audio coach gave me updates it was saying I was doing a pace under 9 min/mi which just didn’t seem possible.     The Return Of The Running Selfie

I’m hopeful that today’s run is a sign that my Saturday long run will go better this week. No matter whether we have a “bad” day or a good one, just getting out there and putting in some miles shows our commitment to the cause. Ultimately, more wells in Africa is the real goal regardless of how a training run goes. I haven’t seen any donations come in for my $1000 goal yet but I’m hopeful that someone will be inspired and moved to join with me every time I share.

    Wee Early Morning Run

    Well, this morning was not a typical training run. With having to start work at 5:30 in the morning my focus was mostly on getting done as quick as I could.
