Introducing The Classics
I love it when I get a chance to introduce my kids to some of the movie classics I grew up watching, like Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory. I constantly feel like they just don’t make movies like they used to. These days everything is special effects and action, whereas the technologic limitations forced a lot of focus and energy on the story. I love to see my kids actually engaged in the movie stories that I watched as a kid. To get good things out of your life, you have to first put good things in. [W]e don’t have a magic hat that allows us to pull something out of nothing. The positive character traits we seek can only result from a daily commitment to prioritize actions and decisions that please the Lord.
