John Confirms Jesus
(John 1:29-34) So, John didn’t know Jesus really, other than what God had revealed to him. However, the key things that God revealed to him was how he would recognize who Jesus was. We see here that Jesus came to John to be baptized. Even though, as far as John was concerned, he wasn’t worthy to baptize Jesus that is what Jesus required of him. He did this and then John saw first hand the Holy Spirit come down onto Jesus, and this was exactly what God had told John would happen. At that point John had no doubt at all that this was Jesus. So what takes up so much of Mr. Tim’s time that he cane only find the time once a week to post on his bloody blog? That’s a good question. While it would seem that in an effort to simplify my I’ve managed to make it slightly bit more complicated. What is the one greatest thing that can complicate a man’s life? So I know that I’d let everyone know how the engagement happened so here it is. It’s not some super amazing thing. I really wish I could have made it a super magical experience but I just didn’t get there. I planned out a full day of activities together starting with breakfast. I was wanting to include Vanessa’s parents in on the breakfast but they couldn’t make it. Before I got to her place to take her to breakfast I made a quick stop over to the flower shop to get a rose for her. My plan was to use it later in the day. Well, I was doing some chatting with a good friend online earlier today. It kind of came to mind that it would appear my life is consumed with eHarmony and my quest to find that special someone. Anyways, of course this is not all that encompasses my life. There is more, here is what I said earlier: I was just thinking to myself that I haven’t been very diligent in writing in my blog what God has been teaching me, there is really more going on for me spiritually than what is seen in my blog. I’ve been married now for about 2.5 months. Married life has been what I hoped and more, some good and some challenging. We’ve gotten into more of a routine now, but not so much that life isn’t interesting. We’ve been trying to work on the house. A few weekends ago we put up gutters. That was an interesting job, with some challenges, but it’s all good. We’ll be doing some yard work in another few weeks. Once the grass grows back I think we’ll have a pretty nice front yard.
