Quick Note…

Well, today I got one more project off the list, YES! I kind of waivered between my final project and the Faith Shaping project today. It was so hard to resist not working on the Faith Shaping stuff. You can check out the progress of the project at https://www.faithshaping.org/. I did repost my test recording on that site. Once I get going and actually have my first real episode recorded I will be submitting to iTunes, so you’ll be able to find it in their directory as well. I’m definitely open to suggestions on this project so feel free to pop on over there and comment, or here too.

Well, it’s late so I’m calling it a night. Wanted to a least get a quick post up.

    When God Straightens Us Out, We Find Joy

    Well, I finaly made it up early today, and I had my time with God. What an incredible difference that makes. I feel like I got a lot accomplished today at work. I still have a pretty busy work day tomorrow but God has shown me the light. Tonight I was able to get yet another project completed.   • Update, Long Overdue…

    I’ve been married now for about 2.5 months. Married life has been what I hoped and more, some good and some challenging. We’ve gotten into more of a routine now, but not so much that life isn’t interesting. We’ve been trying to work on the house. A few weekends ago we put up gutters. That was an interesting job, with some challenges, but it’s all good. We’ll be doing some yard work in another few weeks. Once the grass grows back I think we’ll have a pretty nice front yard.     Another Good Day…But I’m Tired

    Ok, I’m straining to keep my eyes open here. I’m going to have to make this a quick one if I can. I got up this morning only to find I was out of grits. Yeah you heard that right grits. I’ve gotten on this grits kick. It’s pretty much like Malto-Meal [edit (11-12-05): grr, look what happens when you’re half asleep and blogging. It shouldn’t have been Malto-Meal but Cream of Wheat] which I’ve like for as long as I can remember. So I snagged a leftover roll at work when I got there this morning.     What Have I Gotten Myself Into…?

    OK, let’s recap the day first. Got up at 5:30 this morning. Had some good time before work. I still really feel getting up at 5:00 would be better, I just can’t get to bed very early, grrr. Work was good today. I feel like I’m finally getting caught up with stuff. Yes! That’ll probably jinks it, LOL. I’m finding that I’m going to have to do some research to find a better system for the free church websites we’re providing. I might have to do something custom, so long as it’s easy to use.     Nothing Exciting, But Frustrated…

    Well, nothing special today. I didn’t even get up until like noon. I was up late, as is most nights. Did some lunch then back to the blog. This blog thing has really taken over. I think the big thing is it’s my only outlet for for talking, don’t really have anyone to hang out with. I really don’t know that anyone would want to sit and listen to me talk about this stuff anyways. I’d be surprised if people even want to read all my dribble. Didn’t connect with any of my friends today, either. They’re probably out of town for the holiday weekend.
