    Well, today has been an interesting one. It started with the guys not showing up at Perkins this morning. Oh well, I understand it’s early for them. We’ll work something out on Wednesday. My day at work was pretty good. I got a lot done. I had a good chat with Ginny over IM during lunch. She knew I was going to Grease on Sunday. She got on my case about somethings, I won’t mention them here, LOL. After work I headed off to Ronnevik’s to fix their computer.     What A Sermon…

    Well, I did manage to make it to the fellowship time before church. I have to say I was a little disapointed to find no Sunday School class that was directed for my age. I was kind of feeling like an island again. Not that it really matters that most of the guys at church that are my age are married, but I really feel like the odd person. I wanted to sit with someone my age that I knew, which ended up being all girls. That’s fine I guess but as I looked around I didn’t see any sinlge guys my age in the entire room. I feel like such a loser.

  • I Need A Backup…Can I Practice

    So, as things seemed to go, I didn’t get nearly what I wanted to get done at work today. Most of my time today was spent working out some backup & database issues. The worst of it is I still can’t get the backup software installed on the server. I know this is going to bite me if I don’t get it resolved soon. Interesting thing is my Dad happened to send me an email asking about backup software for their computer. I haven’t gotten a chance to respond, I figure I can talk with him about it this weekend when I’m visiting.     So What’s My Problem?

    In short, life, more specific, work. So as it grinds on even later in the evening I just felt I needed to get back to this things called blogging. So obviously the daily anecdotes of my life haven’t made their way to this space in cyber-space much. When life get’s crazy you have to take a hard look at what you are spending your time on. I have days that I wish I wasn’t so willing to do things for people. It’s in my nature to give, and give, and give, and give until I’ve got nothing left for me.     Student Ministries

    Going to make a quick post tonight. This is my second round of seeing my time come to an end working with a group of student guys. Crazy enough the last group of guys I had are just graduating college this year. For me, no matter what it seems so hard to not havve regrets. Wishing I had more deep conversations, spent more time hanging out, took more opportunities to serve together, and I’m sure the list could go on. What I trust and hope in was that God was able to use me exactly as He had intended. I may never know if I really had an impact in these guys’ lives, and may even doubt when I catch glimspes of their lives down…
