So obviously I haven’t posted in awhile again. I’m hoping to remedy this tomorrow perhaps. I’d like to get everyone up to speed on what’s happening in my life. The short version, I’m moving to Michigan on Friday. Tata!

    To get good things out of your life, you have to first put good things in. [W]e don’t have a magic hat that allows us to pull something out of nothing.     Being Apart of a Community of Faith…

    I know it’s late but I had to share a little of what happened today. I had the privilege today to talk with my boss, Todd M., about some exciting ideas of establishing a community of faith. He has been leading a group on Sundays, which I am apart of, and Wednesdays. We’re studying “The Passionate Life” and the Life Shapes. What is more we all have a desire to get away from the model of “doing church”, but being apart of a group of believers that is missional & relational, where Christ’s design for the “church” is lived out in our daily lives.     God’s Timing…Not Ours

    (Exodus 11:1-10) Looking again at the story of Moses being used by God to bring the Isrealites out of Egypt, we can see that things didn’t go as the people, or Moses, had hoped. God, however, had a perfect plan in mind. I’ve talked about it before, but once again I am reminded, that in all things God has a plan for us. I really like both Proverbs 19:21 and also Proverbs 16:9, they both make it very clear that even though we may have something in mind, it’s ultimately God who is in control.     Well, I was doing some chatting with a good friend online earlier today. It kind of came to mind that it would appear my life is consumed with eHarmony and my quest to find that special someone. Anyways, of course this is not all that encompasses my life.
