5K Number 5… Feeling Great!

Treadmill Running at Pro Gym, Jenison, MI

I was pretty frustrated with my pace after yesterday’s run. I had a ton of support and encouragement from the HWP Team and I was super excited to see my results today. I paid close attention to what I was doing today, as compared to the previous day, and made adjustments and I saw the difference. Now I need to just stay the course with my consistency and see where it leads me. 🙂

    Thanksgiving Training Run

Got my own little 10k+ Turkey Trot in this morning. Staying on course as I train for the #GroundhogDayMarathon in February. Looking to represent the #HWI team at that event. After having my water freezing on me this morning I can already tell this is going to be an interesting training season. Oh, it looks like I happen to #PR this morning, which wasn’t my intention, but it happened so that made for a nice way to start off the #Thanksgiving day. Knocking Out Another Couple Miles, Sporting A New Headlamp

Who’s going to help me bring clean water to another 132 people? $825 to go to reach my goal, with matching will hit another 132 people blessed with clean water. https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRMarathon Careful planning goes into the process of putting in a well, it’s not random and or without care. The teams from World Hope that drill the new wells are skilled at what they do. They carefully choose a location and methodically carry out the execution of drilling a well. The result is reliable well to serve the community. It was a nice cool morning for a quick run. I gave my new headlamp a short test run. What a difference going from a 160 lumens headlamp to a 12000 lumens…

    A Wet Easy 11 Miles

I got 11 miles in this morning even though it was raining. With being stuck inside, and at home, pretty much all the time, I was glad to get out end enjoy the end of my run in some daylight. When I finished I enjoyed getting on a Zoom call with the #HWI team and catching up a little bit. This season will look a bit different without our normal kick-off, but we still have many ways to stay connected. #Run4Water #WhyIRun Be a partner for clean water: https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr During my run the rain slowed down to a light most for a bit then it decided to pick-up again towards the end. In spite of the rain it was warm enough that I didn’t need…

Running For Wells In Africa Means Lives Are Changed

While I have been involved with Hope Water International, I have seen first hand the lives that are changed. Obviously, being able to travel to Sierra Leone Africa I saw what kind of life change can occur for people there. However, the other place that lives are changed are right here within the #HWI Team. The support of each other in the HWI community has helped people accomplish more than they had ever thought. That is another reason #WhyIRun with the HWI Team. When you have a group that is on a mission to show love to people half way around the world that they may never know, that loves spills over into the group itself. #Run4Water #GRMarathon Donate to Clean Water: https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr
