A Timely Study I Needed This Week
This was an interesting week to say the least. Did it go like I had planned, or hoped, maybe not? This week did teach me some clear areas I need to work on as a parent, and an even greater appreciation for how amazing my wife is. This post is the beginning of something bigger than myself. As I’ve been walking through a journey to get healthy over the past 8 months I have had many encounters with people that have asked me, either in depth or briefly, the “secret” to my weight loss. Introducing The Classics
I love it when I get a chance to introduce my kids to some of the movie classics I grew up watching, like Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory. I constantly feel like they just don’t make movies like they used to. These days everything is special effects and action, whereas the technologic limitations forced a lot of focus and energy on the story. I love to see my kids actually engaged in the movie stories that I watched as a kid. I can’t tell you how many times my kids wanted to watch Chitty Chitty Bang Bang before they were ready to move on.
