Evening At The Park With The Family

Had a wonderful evening with the family at Rosewood Park. We didn’t know the splash pad was even running yet. We will have to come back another day to enjoy it. The kids were bummed but did take their shoes and socks off to play in the puddles.

Odd Holiday Week, Real Healthy Living Test

This was a strange Holiday season with the timing of how Christmas and New Years fell, day-of-the-week wise. We had to celebrate our own Christmas a couple of days early and then traveled over the Holidays. Neither Christmas or New Years has felt like it was actually happening. We’ll still be celebrating Christmas with my in-laws in the next week. I’m not sure how next year so play out but I think we’re going to be taking breaks from traveling to Minnesota for Christmas, and go only every other year. What It Means To Be A Good Father

One of the challenges I have is not getting upset with my kids. In turn that means not making my kids upset with the way I handle my frustrations with their behavior. I need to remember this verse every time I’m faced with training and disciplining my kids. Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger by the way you treat them. My son was invited to a classmates birthday party at Rebounderz, in Jenison. When I was a kids there was the roller skating rink, these days there are so many new activities for kids to try and do.
