    (John 1:35-39) We see here that John the Baptist had disciples of his own. Actually, later in the Scriptures, Jesus gives us the great commission to go and make disciples. Now the disciples that John had were following him, until they heard and saw Jesus. Really, it was John that pointed his followers to go follow Jesus. Something that is interesting, however, is the fact that John calls Jesus the “Lamb of God”.     A Timely Study I Needed This Week

    This was an interesting week to say the least. Did it go like I had planned, or hoped, maybe not? This week did teach me some clear areas I need to work on as a parent, and an even greater appreciation for how amazing my wife is. This study was both timely and needed as I worked through this week. I highly recommend anyone in the parenting stage to give this devotional a read, but prepared to be challenged by it.

    Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will Be Done…

Give us this day our daily bread…” As I read these words and the pages that went with them, in “The Passionate Life”, it was pretty obvious God was speaking to me concerning my evening.   • Another Day of Wireless…

    Well, today I was working a lot with tweaking the wireless setup on the laptops. I was able to get them to authenticate and login to the domain all wirelessly. Only problem is this was through the IBM ThinkPad wireless configuration tool. I need to figure out how to configure this via straight Windows XP. Then the next step is can a Mac do this? Phil is connected via wireless in his iMac. And it would be good if it could do the same thing. More Googling and research.

    Weekend of Rest and Learning

    Well, I have to say that it has been a pretty nice weekend of rest. I know that I haven’t been as regular in the blog posts. I’m still going to have to work to remedy that. I’ve actually half thought about adding an audio component to my regular blog. Since I’ve got this podcasting equipment it seems a shame to only be using it once a week. Also, I’ve gotten so many comments about my voice, why wouldn’t people want to sit and listen to me ramble.
