When it comes down to it I have a strange definition of “easy run”. The reality of it is that I just have this drive to always do better, to try harder. I know perfectly well that I won’t be winning any races in the foreseeable future, but like in most things I do I know I can always do better. I’m on the taper part of my training as the #RiverBankRun approaches this Saturday. After not running for a few days I wondered how this morning would even go. It started off slow but by the end I was cruisin’. I managed to get another PR this morning which feels like a good place to be going into race week. Got my own little 10k+ Turkey Trot in this morning. Staying on course as I train for the #GroundhogDayMarathon in February. Looking to represent the #HWI team at that event. After having my water freezing on me this morning I can already tell this is going to be an interesting training season.
