12 Miles For Clean Water On A Brisk Saturday Morning

There is a lot of planning and work involved with putting in a quality well that will sustain a village for years to come, and through long dry seasons. When you support a well through Hope Water you can know that your dollars are impacting generations. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun Make a global, and generational, impact by giving to clean water: https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr With the River Bank Run now being postponed to the fall I’m not sure what my running will look like. The essence of relationships is not what we do for each other or what we give to each other. The essence of relationships is how much of ourselves we give to each other. YouVersion plan ‘Better Together’. Check it out here:http://bible.com/r/Qc “I give my wife everything she needs. I give my kids everything they need. What more do they want?”…

Training During The Winter, Treadmill Alternatives

So up until the end of December I’d been sticking out running outside. Since the snow began to fly I’ve taken things indoors on the dreaded treadmill. 😉 Currently the treadmill running has been thanks to a great 3-month deal on a gym membership. Once we move into our new house in February/March I’ll be on our own treadmill, which we picked up cheap(used) before Christmas. I’m planning on joining some of the Hope Water Project – Team Daybreak group runs starting this Saturday, which brings me to considering what it means to run in the cold. I came across this Runner’s World post today that has many ideas on ways to keep training in the Winter months, or cold climates. I think the most…
