Due to early morning work my morning run got delayed. However, it was a downpouring rain. At 4:30 this morning anyways. It was a tough run with the heat/humidity and a bad morning at work. I needed the run to clear my head and prepare myself for the day ahead. Despite all the focus on myself on this run I did listen to God’s prompting long enough to lift some others’ needs up to him. #HWI #GRMarathon #Run4Water

It was a typical short and easy training run this morning. I’ve been able to keep things on track this week. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #RiverBankRun

After getting through about half of my run in this morning I could tell that the second half was going to be a struggle. Over the past year, even though I haven’t stopped running, my running wasn’t always as consistent and my diet has been all over the map. These two things of course have…
Given the struggle on Monday to get traction and keep a decent place I decided to take my interval run to the treadmill. About the only good thing about a treadmill is that you can easily keep a consistent pace. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #RiverBankRun #treadmill
It was a kind of interesting morning, weather wise. There was some big thunder before 4am but when I got outside for my morning run there wasn’t much for rain, just some sprinkles and mist off-and-on. The wind came and went as well. The crazy thing once again is to see my pace improve of…
Even though I thought that the sidewalks and streets would be cleared or packed down by today, it was still a struggle to maintain much speed. Overall I was able to, on average, stay on target for my training run pace. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #RiverBankRun
