Despite it being a rainy morning it still felt good to be out for a run. After the 2017 #GRMarathon downpour, and consistent winter training, I’m pretty much good to run in anything. If you are going to run a race outside you have to train in everything if you want to be prepared. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun

Every day the #HWI team gets out to train for the #GRMarathon is a show of our commitment to the cause of clean water in Africa. I have seen first hand the changes that reliable clean water bring to a village in #SierraLeone through the smiling faces, and brightness in the eyes, of children. #Run4Water #WhyIRun Donate to Clean Water: https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr
I keep wavering on whether to stop the half marathon training plan I’m on and switch to the #HWI #GRMarathon #training plan or not. When I get 6+ miles in and feel good I find it hard to go back to just 3 miles. The longer runs also mean more #GodTime so there’s that aspect as well. ? #HessLakeRun
Today, was a fitness level test run, 5 minute warm-up/cool down and 12 minutes of high intensity running. The intensity of these runs make it hard to think about much, though I still enjoyed the worship workout music. There are 2 albums that I typically rotate between. https://play.google.com/music/m/Byaqvq4noj2wsy5bnnjrd7gxlxy?t=50_Christian_Running_Cardio_Workout_-_CWH https://play.google.com/music/m/Bu5tpzv5jynip3tjpxndsh7t56m?t=Christian_Workout_50_Best_Music_Hits_Running_Cardio_-_Christian_Workout_Hits_Group These are my go-to music selection for running. I enjoy having some worship time during my runs to help me start off with God. #RiverBankRun
This morning felt like a pretty big challenge. It being my 3rd 5K this week I just felt off from the start. After looking at my distance climbed I think I understand why today felt like so much of a struggle, I had about 90 feet of incline then my last 2 5Ks. Looks like the machine decided to take things up a notch today. I’m not unhappy with my pace. It just feels like I took a step back from the start of the week. I think my body is still recovering from lack of sleep since I was up way late the night before last. I hope it’ll work to make it to a HWP group run soon. It was a typical short and easy training run this morning. I’ve been able to keep things on track this week. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #RiverBankRun
