I’m still $780 away from hitting my goal before the Grand Rapids Marathon on October 15th. I hope there are those that would be willing to partner with me to bring clean water to those that need it. • Sticking With The Pacers

I wanted to make sure I hit my target based on how my training went. I decided before the race even started that I was going to stick with the pacers. That plan paid off. Even though my target pace was supposed to be 8:42 min/mi my choices for pacers was 8:30 or 9:00 and so I decided to stick myself in between, but really I just stuck with the 8:30 pacers the whole way, mostly. I Am Blessed To Be Able To Run

Short easy 5 mile training run this morning. My focus this morning was on the Jon Martinson family and the people of Sierra Leone. I can’t begin to know what it’s like to lose a spouse or parent at a young age. As for Sierra Leone, last night I happened to catch a little montage video of my trip, back in May, that Google Photos made. It brought back so many feelings from my time there. I hope that I can return again. I’m also thankful to be a part of improving life there. #HWI #GRMarathon #Run4Water Donate to Clean Water…

The teams from World Hope that drill the new wells are skilled at what they do. They carefully choose a location and methodically carry out the execution of drilling a well. The result is reliable well to serve the community. It was a nice cool morning for a quick run. I gave my new headlamp a short test run. What a difference going from a 160 lumens headlamp to a 12000 lumens…
