Ugh…It’s 4:11 am…What’s That Smell

So this morning was A LOT early than I was planning on getting up. Darn dog decided to take a dump in my room. I think I’m going to have to borrow the carpet shampooer from my parents this weekend. Had to clean that all up, I still think I’m smelling that dog poo stench, and I’m not even in the room (I’m downstairs, in the Living Room). Well just thought I’d share that…ugh…I feel sick. Pets, sometimes you love ’em, sometimes you don’t.

    We All Need Support From Others

    Today God opened my eyes to the current state of my life, and the need for the support of people who love me. It can be the most humbling thing to ask for help, I have felt that tonight.     Devotions this morning says, as Christians, we should not be thinking “I can’t”, at least in following God’s direction. This is so very true, Jesus pointed out what little faith we have, and how little faith it takes to even move a mountain. I think of the times I have thought, “I just can’t do this”, because of circumstances in my life. Shame on me if I’m failing to follow God’s leading.     So I know that I’d let everyone know how the engagement happened so here it is. It’s not some super amazing thing. I really wish I could have made it a super magical experience but I just didn’t get there. I planned out a full day of activities together starting with breakfast. I was wanting to include Vanessa’s parents in on the breakfast but they couldn’t make it. Before I got to her place to take her to breakfast I made a quick stop over to the flower shop to get a rose for her. My plan was to use it later in the day.     Weekend Recap…

    Ok, so I guess I took a break from the whole blog thing, sort of. Basically I ended up adding some additional features and tweaks. I never did get to see any friends. Oh well, hopefully another time. Sunday, my family and I headed off to the Minnesota State Fair with my aunt and uncle. My sister invited two friends so they basically went off and did their own thing. It started out with kind of crumby weather on the way, but it cleared up by the time we got their and started walking around. I can’t say that I say anything exceptional.     Busy Days, Lazy Nights…

    Just wanted to make a quick post. My days, Monday & Tuesday, were crazy busy. On the other hand both evenings were kind of lazy on my part. Monday I did try working on recording some music. That would have been better if I ended up actually having something to show for the time I spent. I sort of had something, probably was trying to add in some percussion loops to what I had recorded. I ended up having my own timing on what I recorded. Well, of course I didn’t save each take as a seperate recording session, GarageBand still seems a bit odd to work with at times.     What’s Up With Me Today…

    Of course, anyone that read my blog earlier, or will read my earlier post, will know that my day started out kind of crappy. Let’s just say that my mind and emotions got the better of me. Thanks to God for great friends and encouragers. I’m not sure if perhaps Caristy read my blog and told John to invite me out with the seminary students for lunch but it made a huge difference in my day. I won’t doubt that this was just God at work. I also got some very encouraging words from Cassie, thanks. I kind of shared breifly tonight with Andrew about the issue I have, and what caused all my problems this morning.   9. Yeah, it’s been a crazy busy week. I’m down at my parents doing some live sound recording. On the short, tonight was terrible. Don’t think I’ll be putting any of tonights performance on the CD. I’ll be updating when I get back, hopefully.
