I’m $875 away from hitting my $1000 fundraising goal. Right now we have matching funds available, so this means every dollar someone gives is two. It’s the best time to give and have your gift doubled. I had a good Monday recovery run this morning. Once I got in the groove things felt great. I was pleasantly surprised when my trudging along at the start actually turned out to be a faster pace than it felt like.

After successfully migrating from a #DigitalOcean Droplet for my #Mastodon instance I decided to take advantage of the remaining resources still available on #OracleCloud to migrate my web hosting as well. I’m going to be taking a different approach, basically because of the #arm64 setup, and using #Docker for running most of my hosting setup. This post serves as an on-going guide to that setup.
The Keyword is “Since” Not “If”
As a follow up to my previous post it’s important that we remember that everything we are called to do as a Christ follower is in the context of “since” and not “if”. What’s the difference? If we have the thinking, “if someone is doing ‘x’, or not doing ‘y’, they can’t be a believer”, we are basically inferring that someone has no faith or belief in Christ because of their actions. That’s a pretty big leap, and a sure fire way to further the view that Christians are righteous, judgemental, hippacrits, essentially modern day Pharisees. For Better Or Worse, The Ease Of Google Services And Devices For Kids
My daughter knows exactly how to send email on our Chromebooks and managed to do so, sending an email to my wife, without any prior direction from me. #kids #technology #parenting #gmail #email #education To provide some context, our home network and devices are all pretty well locked down and managed.
