Ran with Ron & Terry in #SierraLeone this morning. Now that is a group run you don’t get to do very often. #HWI #GRMarathon #Run4Water
Yesterday, was the #HWI annual 5K group run, though this year it was “virtual” since we can’t gather yet. It’s definitely not the same to just gather for a video call and then run on your own. Missing hearing the bells ring as I cross the finish line. Looking forward to the day when we can gather again. #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRMarathon #RiverBankRun Give to clean water: https://timn.me/2020HWI
The #HWI Team is helping communities in Africa to leave behind their unreliable, and unhealthy, water supplies. Every well that Hope Water helps to put in brings a village a water supplies that will keep them healthy and bring new life and hope. #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRMarathon Partner With Us: https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr
2nd to the last marathon training run today. Since I took a break yesterday in order to get some extra rest I decided to stick with the #Endomondo plan which called for some speed work, well sort of. ? I spent the slower end of the run lifting many of my family up in prayer, in addition to those in Africa that are still waiting for access to clean water. Our world is full of both physical and spiritual needs. When we take care of the physical needs it paves the way for the spiritual needs. #HWI #GRMarathon #Run4Water #WhyIRun Donate to Life – https://timn.me/2t9D4ne
With things warming up yesterday the roads and sidewalks got cleared pretty well. I was able to hit my interval training run paces quite easily. Looking back on the tough training week, I think it was actually a good thing in terms of getting an extra hard without to prepare me for today. I only have a couple of runs left in the training plan before the marathon next week, then it’ll be on to the #RBR 25K training. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun
