Seeking Wisdom

Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you. - Philippians 4:9 NLT

In our quest for wisdom, then, we must ask ourselves: does God simply grant wisdom, or does He give us opportunities to be wise with the knowledge He has already granted us? – Seeking Wisdom

    Love Your Enemies…

Matthew 5:44 – So I happened to read a regular text entry on a Podcast that I subscribe to. This Podcast is like an audiobook, actually this is his second book. Well it would seem his site, with posts and comments, was hacked. This in and of itself isn’t a huge deal, except for the fact that the person doing the hacking is claiming to be apart of the cummunity of believers in Intelligent Design. It rather has me annoyed at how twisted people’s thinking get when it comes to their beliefs. How any true Christian can think that by attacking the non-Christian masses is going to be an effective witness is beyond me. How many converts did the Crusades see? I’m sure there were…

Making A Way For Education Through Clean Water

All it will take is 20 people to each give $12.75 from now until the #GRMarathon day to hit my goal and bring another 19 people clean water. https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun What we do today has an impact on the future of the generations to come. What better way to invest in the future generations. Even though my training plan called for an easy run I took the short distance as an opportunity to push myself. I could definitely feel the warmer temperature this morning. Needless to say, it took me awhile to…

    Intense Monday Recovery Run

Give just $25, and it’ll be $50 with the current matching. $25 a day until the #GRMarathon to hit $1000. https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun Every morning I get ready to go run I turn to the sink to fill up my water. However much I feel like I need or want. For villages in Africa the choice is not that simple. We have public drinking fountains, bathrooms everywhere. Every dollar Hope Water raises helps to make water more readily available to those in need. I’m glad to say that I didn’t end up with any significant injuries from my fall on Saturday, other than some scraped up knees. I managed a pretty intensive run this morning. Everything felt great.
