    ByTim Nolte August 25, 2018
Old shoes had about run their course so I needed to get some new ones soon enough before the #GRMarathon to get them broke in. Trying a new model shoe. Striders was so helpful with helping me find my new shoe! #HWI #NewShoes

Not Getting Caught Up With PRs And Race Pace

    ByTim Nolte August 21, 2018
A little wet this morning but still nothing like last year’s #GRMarathon with the cold downpouring rain. Today being a longer race pace training run it was hard for me to not just focus on the run. With this type of training run you start thinking about what your race pace should be. I know perfectly well that I won’t be winning any races in the foreseeable future, but like in most things I do I know I can always do better. The key piece that I can’t, we all can’t, forget is that doing better doesn’t change how much God loves us. Our worst is no different than our best in God’s eyes. Ultimately, God only cares about where our heart is at, and if we are in a relationship with him. I run not just to get better at running, but because I know…

Strength To Get Us Through Anything

    ByTim Nolte August 18, 2018
When we set out on a run we never know how it’s going to go. We’re going to have good days and we’re going to have bad days. Regardless of how things go we have a God by our side that can get us through those tough hills, unexpected pains, or the feelings of giving up, and bring us across the finish line.
