    A Day of Blessings…

    Well today has been such a full day of blessings. The sermon this morning, given by President Egge, was on generosity and not just about giving money, but the generosity that Christ showed to all through time & help. It was really good to hear about being generous in all areas of your life, following Christ’s example. Our LifeShapes study was excellent as well. Today we went through the hexagon, which focuses on prayer, and using the Lord’s Prayer as the model. While it gace and guideline, it also showed the vast ways that guideline can be worked out in our prayer life.     Hard Working Weekend, Deck Progress Was Made

    Besides an awesome 5K training group run with the HWI Team Daybreak on Saturday it was pretty much a deck building weekend. I spent most of the day Saturday completing the deck support base. And on Sunday I was able to get cracking on screwing down the deck board. I completed half the deck. I put the patio furniture on the finished area just to feel a little bit more sense of accomplishment. I was really hoping to get it all finished this weekend but I’ll be plugging away at the second half this week. Hopefully i’ll have it completed by or during next weekend.

    Dance, Dance, Dance…

    I know that I haven’t posted in awhile. And I know that my last post, that some may have seen, was a not ans exciting life update post. I haven’t forgotten about the blog world, life just sometimes gets away from you. My podcasting days come back to mind every now and then too. I really think that if I’m going to get back into the podcasting I need to come up with a solid plan for organizing each show. Vanessa and I have just completed the 4th week of our dance class.     A Big Thank You…

    Thanks guys for the encouragement & support. The reality is that not really any of the advice items you’ve said is something I didn’t already know, or haven’t told myself like a hundred times. This is why I had to get it all out in the open. I just need a lot of prayer in this area of my life. Like I said at the end this is something I’m needed to take to God everday. You know this topic of not going and looking, as it relates to relationships, I’m starting to have a little issue with. I would agree that yes you shouldn’t go looking under rocks for someone but there are circumstances I believe that change this. I think if my own…
