Managing A Late Start Interval Run
This morning had an off start. After waking up and looking at the time I realized I had forgot to change my alarm the night before and I had woken up an hour late. I tried to get myself out the door as soon as I could but I knew there was no way I was going to get the 8-9 miles in that my training plan called for. On top of that it was an interval training run. I decided to just follow the intervals but cut the run short in order to get back home at a decent time. I did manage to get just shy of miles in, even though I had some tough going intervals. Seeing, And Meeting, The Needs of Others
Responding to the Needs of Others Around You I have, at times, been cognizant of the needs of those I’ve been in connection with. Most often the help has come by way of financial assistance. There have been other times that non-financial needs have arose and I’ve responded, but those times seem to have been in the minority. Being Intentional About Seeing, And Meeting, The Needs of Those Around Us We are called to not only help our brothers and sisters in Christ, but to help all those in need around us. Running 6 Miles And Feelin’ Fine
I keep wavering on whether to stop the half marathon training plan I’m on and switch to the #HWI #GRMarathon #training plan or not. When I get 6+ miles in and feel good I find it hard to go back to just 3 miles. The longer runs also mean more #GodTime so there’s that aspect as well. ? #HessLakeRun

5K+ Christmas Morning Training Run
After opening presents with the kids, and helping them get their gifts ready to play with, I headed out for a short Christmas run. I pushed it a bit as I wanted to make sure I wasn’t gone from the family too long. The kids were up before 5am this morning so it was good that I didn’t chance it and try to hey my run in before they woke up. I’m thankful for how God has blessed our family. I’m looking forward to more of a joy filled day. I pray that no matter what the situation any of us are facing this Christmas that we can all still have joy and thankfulness for the greatest gift we have received in Jesus Christ. #HWI…

More Miles For Clean Water
During this season of celebrating Christ’s birth we can celebrate 15 new wells that will be going in this coming year. There’s more work to be done, so consider a year-end gift to clean water. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRGus Give the blessing of clean water: https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr

Great perspective! Have not thought of authority in that way, but so true.
