This morning had an off start. After waking up and looking at the time I realized I had forgot to change my alarm the night before and I had woken up an hour late. I tried to get myself out the door as soon as I could but I knew there was no way I was going to get the 8-9 miles in that my training plan called for. On top of that it was an interval training run. I decided to just follow the intervals but cut the run short in order to get back home at a decent time. I did manage to get just shy of miles in, even though I had some tough going intervals. When you throw the major wind resistance and the crazy April snow, the conditions were less than ideal. Despite the challenges I got a decent run in. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #RiverBankRun

After the slow start this week I wasn’t sure how an interval run would go. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #RiverBankRun
Nice to be back at the Thursday training with my running partner. #HWI #GRMarathon #Run4Water

I’ve still got another $355 to go in the next 3 weeks to hit my goal for wells in Africa. There is also still donation matching that will be applied so your gift will actually have double the impact. Another training run in the books. I could definitely feel the soreness in my legs from the half marathon still. I could also tell that some bad eating the previous few days was affecting how I was feeling while running. I really need to get back on track with things. I did enjoy another day…
Starting off the week with a short “easy” run even though my training called for an interval run. Even though I’m typically one to follow a training plan pretty closely, I know where I’m at right know with my fitness level. #5K #training
