    5 Wintery Miles For Clean Water

    Even though it is now considered the “off season” for the West Michigan #HWI team, the need for clean water hasn’t been completely met. Thanks to the work of the team this past year many thousands more will have access to clean water, but the harsh reality is that there are still thousands more that will still not have access to clean water. This is another reason why I feel compelled to keep running, even through the winter months, to continue to bring awareness to the huge need that is still before us.     Nearing The End Of The Marathon Training, Only One More To Go

    2nd to the last marathon training run today. Since I took a break yesterday in order to get some extra rest I decided to stick with the #Endomondo plan which called for some speed work, well sort of. ? I spent the slower end of the run lifting many of my family up in prayer, in addition to those in Africa that are still waiting for access to clean water. Our world is full of both physical and spiritual needs.     Reflecting On My Sierra Leone Experience While Running

    Since we’re gone camping this weekend I decided to get my long run in before we left. I was thinking a lot about my experience in Sierra Leone while I ran, including those specific people I had the opportunity to meet. I miss being there and am a little saddened that I may not get back there again. I’m still processing my time there, and trying to better share small pieces of my experience with others.
