This week is supposed to be the start of the training taper before the River Bank Run 25K next week. With a long interval run this morning it’s hard to think of this being a taper, but there isn’t a run scheduled for Saturday according to the plan I’m following so I guess that signifies a taper. ? It honestly kind of surprised me how close I was to getting in a half marathon distance in this morning.

It was nice to sleep in a little before doing the short run, especially given my #Endomondo training plan has me on a 5 run per week schedule. The only problem with these short runs is that I get a little too caught up in my speed. I love having the worship workout music pumping me up to full speed. A perk this March of being a member at the Grand Rapids Public Museum was being able to go to the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum for free. Haven’t taken the kids there in a long while. They had a blast and of course didn’t want to leave.
Hoping to steps things up another notch this week and also get all 4 of my runs in this week.
